Design Aware is an official affiliate group of Ryerson University’s School of Fashion. As a grassroots organization it is our mission to promote sustainability in design from a student perspective. We started in 2006 in an effort to share resources among students and to let the faculty know about our sincere interest in the topic. Since our inception we have been asked to speak to faculty and students on many occasions and continue to build connections throughout the fashion industry.
Design Aware aims to be an open forum for discussion. We welcome you to comment on our postings and join our Facebook group! We hold regular meetings and encourage anyone interested to attend and contribute.
